Elbert Lyle Pilkington

Elbert Lyle "Bo" Pilkington, 72 of Mineral Wells, passed away at Monday, August 13 with his family by his side. He was born June 11, 1946 to William "Bill" and Francis Louise Mixon Pilkington. Bo was a lifelong resident of Mineral Wells. He was preceded in death by his parents.Survivors include his children, Terri Sawyer and husband Rene of Ovilla, Tx, Sherri Young and husband Mark of Marlow, OK, and John Layman; grandchildren, Russell Harrison and wife, Jessica, Dillon Layman, Bryan Sawyer, Codi Young, Rene Sawyer, Seth Young, Laurie Sawyer, Logan Layman; great-grandchildren, Riley Armstrong and Tripp Harrison; brothers, Howard Pilkington and wife, Sherry, Ed Pilkington and wife, Ila; aunt, Mary Jane Dunaway; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Funeral services will be 10 am, Saturday, August 18 at Southside Church of Christ with burial following at Bosley Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening at Baum-Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home.
