Edward "Eddie" Glen Smith

Edward Glen Smith, Sr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 12, 2021. Eddie was born April 15, 1956 to Jessie and Marjorie Smith, in Mineral Wells, Tx.

Graveside service will be held at Staggs Prairie Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 14, 2021.

Eddie was a welder at PECO for 36 years. He also worked at D&B Welding with his good friends Don Brunson and Kay Gilley. Eddie was fortunate to end his career with his dream job teaching welding at Weatherford College. He absolutely loved teaching students everything he knew about welding. He had great wisdom and enthusiasm to share with them.

Eddie was preceded in death by his Dad, Jessie Smith, grandparents, Ben and Jimmie Watson and Gertie and Andrew Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Blackerby Smith; mother, Marjorie Smith; brothers, Gary, Terry and wife Carrie; son Eddie Smith; stepchildren, Melissa Leon, Nikki Clark, Jeremy Hamscher and wife Heather, Dustin Hamscher, Misti Windham and husband Corey. Eddie is also survived by 13 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Eddie will be greatly missed. I love you Eddie Smith.
