Edna Faye Richardson Lister, 91, passed away August 4, 2016 at her son's home in Mineral Wells. She was born December 8, 1924 in Maysville, Oklahoma to George and Sarah Mozley Richardson. Edna Faye grew up in Maysville and married her high school sweetheart Joe Lister on October 25, 1941. After Joe's enlistment in the Air Force and his graduation from Southwestern State University with a degree in Pharmacy they came to Mineral Wells where they owned the Lister Pharmacy for many years and she was bookkeeper as well as doing some of everything. She was active throughout her long life. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a noted artist and enjoyed helping others learn to paint. She was Past President of the Woman's Club and a member of the Mineral Wells Art Association. She enjoyed playing games and was a member of a Bridge Club and a group of ladies that played hand and foot. After she and Joe retired from Lister Pharmacy they made many trips trailering with friends over the United States and Canada. She used many of the pictures taken as subjects for her paintings. Edna Faye loved everyone but her greatest love was for her Lord, Jesus Christ and her family. Services will be 1 PM Monday, August 8, 2016 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 6-8 PM at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Joe K. Jr. and Phyllis Lister, grandson and wife: Casey and Candy Lister, granddaughter and husband: Kellie and Trent Weatherford, great-grandchildren: Adison Lister, Lexy Lister, and Hudson Weatherford, sister-in-law: Bernice Richardson, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and her husband on November 8, 2001.
