Eddie Marshal Morris

Eddie M. Morris passed away in his home on Monday, January 4, 2021 with his family present. Born February 15, 1948 to Thomas N. (Cotton) and Zuela McKee Morris in Mineral Wells. He married Carolyn Boyd on July 28, 1967. He retired from General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin after over 40 years. Eddie loved his family with all his heart and it was felt deeply by them. He also loved his Harley, hunting in Colorado in the fall, and traveling.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Clayton Alexander; son, Cody Morris; grandchildren who were his special joy, Ayden Morris, Ricky and Addisyn Alexander; sister and brother-in-law, Tommie and Harold Glover; sister-in-law, Patsy Cox; numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. He is also survived by his special friends whom he loved dearly and his little princess, Zoe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cotton and Zeula Morris and sister, Julia Nail.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Mineral Wells. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
