Earl Sims

Earl A. "Toby" Sims, 86, passed away February 22, 2017 in Mineral Wells. He was born April 29, 1930 in Knox City the son of Earl A. Sims Sr. and Jessie Henderson Sims. He married Joyce Price on September 5, 1953 in Perrin. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and was a Baptist. He worked at Acme Brick from 1947-1994. He loved to fish, hunt, and gardening. Graveside services will be 1 PM Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Linda Sims of Palo Pinto; daughter: Susan Mallory of Mineral Wells; grandchildren: Todd Randol, John Michael Sims, Leigha Randol, Angie Mallory, and Travis Mallory; great-grandson: Tyler Burgan; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife on July 7, 2007; and children: Mark and Cheryl Sims.
