Dwan McCuan Barron passed away on March 27, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on September 15, 1942, in Mineral Wells, Texas, Dwan lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Barron; her son, Shawn Barron, and his wife, Crystal; her daughter, Jennifer Barron; and granddaughter, Kacey Barron. She also leaves behind her sister, Darlene McCuan Hopkins, and husband, Marcus; her brother, JW McCuan; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Dwan spent much of her career in the banking industry, where her kindness and warm spirit left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. Outside of work, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures—cherishing time with family and friends, playing tennis, traveling, and filling her home with love through cooking and entertaining. She had a passion for gardening and found peace among her flowers and plants, tending to them with the same care and dedication she showed to those she loved.
Dwan’s kindness, strength, and unwavering love will forever be in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy is one of warmth, generosity, and a life well lived. She will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church in Mineral Wells, Texas.
