Dottie Gandee

Dottie Gandee passed into her Lord's arms on August 14, 2016. She was born in McLeansboro, Illinois; the daughter of Hobart Elder and Helen Cluck Wheeler. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 6-8pm at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the 11th Avenue Church at 10am. Pallbearers will be Matt Lively, Jud Lively, Rodney Butler, Jimmy Wright, Scott Gandee, and Mike Reimers. She leaves behind her children, Alecia Kathryn Reimers and Patricia Ann Nordstrom both of McQueeney, Texas and Christie Lea Kellar and husband Bill of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Michael Wayne Reimers of Katy, Texas, Michelle Kelso of Lake McQueeney, Cory Cain of Austin, Colby Nordstrom of Katy, and Jennifer Wright of Aledo; numerous great-grandchildren; nephew, Scott and Carol Gandee of Sanger; extended family Rodney and Linda Butler and their children Brent and Becky and their families along with a host of friends. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Harold Gandee whom she was married to for 56 years; parents; and numerous brothers and sisters. For those who prefer in lieu of flower donations may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital or Wounded Warriors.
