Dorris Lee

June Lee, 78, passed away February 3, 2011 in a Weatherford nursing home. She was born June 18, 1932 in Santo the daughter of Edward and Ollie Wheeler Nicks. She married Dub Lee on June 17, 1947 in Mineral Wells. She lived in Mineral Wells for most of her life and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She was a cook for the Mineral Wells School District for many years. Services will be 1 PM Sunday, February 6, 2011 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. John Tunnell officiating. Burial will follow in Cottonwood Cemetery in Jack County. Visitation is Saturday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her children and spouses: Debbie and Bobby Ahlefeld of Santo, Douglas and Sandy Lee of Millsap, Dale Lee and fiancé Gwen Damato of Mineral Wells, grandchildren and spouses: Kim and Caleb Nieves, Tim Jr. and Rhonda Cason, Angie and Tim Harris, Mark Lee, Sam and Lori Lee, Amy and Brian Grant, Mandy and Blaine Edwards, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Dub Lee on October 23, 2007, her parents, and 1 brother. The family wishes to thank the special people of Keeneland Nursing Home for the loving care given to their mother.
