Dorothy Williams

Dorothy Williams passed into her Lord's arms on November 21, 2016. She was born in Olton, Texas; the daughter of William Henry Mathis and Mabel Agnes Jolly Mathis. Dorothy was a member of First Baptist Church since 1968 and was very passionate about the senior adults group she was involved in. She loved her family, especially her grandkids. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 6-8pm at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Annex. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, 10am, at First Baptist Church, the burial will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery. She leaves behind her children, Cheryl Robinson and husband David of Garner, Tony Williams and wife Lisa of Fort Worth, and Dana Gopffarth of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Brandi Halstead and husband Lamont, Jill Swanzy and husband James, Heather Williams, Josh Grigsby, Mikala Gopffarth, and Mason Gopffarth; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Mathis and wife Nancy of Olton, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Dan Williams in 1974; brother, Billy Mathis; and sister, Nellie Fern Baker.
