Dorothy Dene Hinshaw Schindler

Dorothy Dene Hinshaw Schindler, 90, passed away February 15, 2018 in Granbury. She was born February 15, 1928 in Whitt the daughter of William D. and Annie Barker Hinshaw. She married Charles Frank Schindler on November 14, 1948. She was a longtime resident of Salesville and a member of Salesville Baptist Church. Services will be 2 PM Monday, February 19, 2018 at Salesville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Sturdivant Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her daughters and spouses: Kathryn and Steve Cochran of North Richland Hills, Beatrice Schindler and partner Anne Thompson of San Mateo, California, Rebecca Dee and Grady Swindle of Granbury, grandchildren: Doug Johnston, Jayme Johnston, Ryan Cochran, and Rachael Cortez and husband Daniel, great-granddaughter: Aubrey Elise Cortez, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings: Jim Hinshaw, Ellen Walker, Ozella Sears, Willie L. Hinshaw, Winston "Short" Hinshaw, and David Hinshaw.
