Dorla Dean Hill, 86, passed away March 28, 2017 in Mineral Wells. She was born February 11, 1931 in Mineral Wells the daughter of Jim and Edith Hopkins Barnes. She married Bobby L. Hill January 25, 1950, they were married for 51 years, and he preceded her in death in 2001. She was a lifetime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of Rock Creek Rd. Baptist Church. Services will be 4 PM Saturday, April 1, 2017 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is 3 PM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Rickey A. and Pat Hill of Garland, grandchildren: Shane Robertson, Chelese Robertson, Daniel Hill and wife Lisa, Timothy Hill, great-grandchildren: Michaela Mendoza, Ryan Bell, and Lainey and Logan Hill, sister and brother-in-law: Jolita and Earl Hampton, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was also preceded in death by her precious daughter: Karen C. Hill in 2013, and beloved sister: Fayrene Barnes Young and husband Don. The family sends a special thanks to Mineral Wells Nursing and Rehab and Sloaris Hospice for all the competent and compassionate care, and to Rev.
