Doris J. Garrett Clary Hardin, loving mother, sister, aunt and Memaw, passed away surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her son’s home on June 16, 2024. She was born in Mineral Wells, Texas on December 19, 1934 to parents Ivory and Lizzie Garrett.
Doris worked at Edo-Air Mitchell for many years and Barriers before becoming a stay-at-home wife and Memaw to her grandchildren that she loved and adored.
Survivors include her son, Bobby Mark and Tamara Clary, daughter-in-law, Cindy Clary; her grandchildren: Brandon and Kim Clary, Chase and Macy Clary, T.J. and Nichole Clary, Ryan and Tanisha Clary Gardner,JRay and April Ramsey; great-grandchildren: Madi Bunn and Keaton Quintanilla, Brenley Grace Clary, Harper Grace Clary, Jace Ryan Clary, Ryker Lance Gardner, Hadley Cash Gardner, and Payton Ramsey; great-great-grandchild: Bentley Quintanilla; special nieces: Sheree Savage Lemley, Jo Rhodes, Carol Fisher, and Rhonda Morris Nicklas; numerous other extended family and friends.
Doris was preceded in death by the father of her two sons her first husband, Charles H. Clary; husband, Ron K. Hardin; son, Terry Clary; parents, Ivory and Lizzie Garrett; brothers: Buddy Garrett and Raymond Garrett; sisters: Irene Martin, Lucille Moore, Love Gartman, and Wanda Savage.
Doris will be lying in state Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery.
