Dorcas Genell Massey

Dorcas Genell Massey, 95, passed away February 8, 2014 at her home in Mineral Wells. She was born February 14, 1918 in San Saba the daughter of Lesley and Hannah Craig Stone. She married Paul Massey on July 4, 1936 in Mineral Wells. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Services will be 2 PM Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law: Patsy and Walter Cathcart of Mineral Wells, Lynda Smith of Mineral Wells, grandchildren: Cindy Chavez of Fort Worth, Donna McCoy of Georgia, Michael Cathcart of Missouri, Wendy Sanders of Morgan Mill, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, and her husband on October 9, 2012.
