Donna Elizabeth Harrington

Donna Elizabeth Harrington made her passage to her eternal home on Friday morning, August 5th, 2022. She was 76. 

Born February 7th, 1946 in Comanche, Texas, this bright ray of sunshine, hair stylist, or Nanna as she was fondly known by her grandchildren, was a wonderful lady who saw the best in everyone. As a hairstylist, she spent decades caring for her clients behind her chair, blessing each of them one haircut at a time. 

As a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who fiercely loved her family, Nanna took great pleasure in taking care of others, vegetable and flower gardening, painting, reading novels, and making blankets for each of her grandchildren, even the ones she would never know. 

Donna is survived by her daughter Jonna, and her husband Robert Banks; Son Bill Bean; four grandchildren, Jordan and her husband Cole Vaughan, Cayler Banks, Paxton Bean and Pierce Bean; and two great grandchildren June and Jodie Vaughan. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Harrington; parents W.F. (Cotton) and Mary Ethel White; and her three brothers George, John and Jack White. Visitation will be held the evening of August 7, 2022 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at Indian Creek Baptist Church, Monday, August 8, 2022 at 10:00am.
