Donald Lynn Wyss

Donald Lynn Wyss, 75, passed away March 18, 2012 at his home in Mineral Wells. He was born May 6, 1936 in Milton, Wisconsin the son of Carl and Dorothy Kuhlow Wyss. He married Cynthia Hoffman on September 22, 1956 in Janesville, Wisconsin. He graduated from Janesville High School in 1954, and worked for the Panoramic Corporation until 1972 when he moved to Mineral Wells to become the Plant Manager of St. Regis Paper Company. In 1978 the company was sold to Rock-Tenn where he continued to be the plant manager until 1980 when he and his wife purchased the business and became the President and Owner of Texas Packaging Company, Inc. He loved to play golf and was instrumental in forming the Holiday Hills Country Club. He was a past member of the Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce. He was also a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife: Cynthia Wyss of Mineral Wells, children and spouses: Cheryl and Bill Hailey of Weatherford, Heidi and Albert Rincon of Mineral Wells, James and Carla Wyss of Aledo, grandchildren: Heather and Erin Hailey, Amanda and Adam Rincon, Madison, Morgan, and Preston Wyss, sisters and brother-in-law: Doris and Walter Stocker of Rockford, Illinois, and Carol Ritland of Janesville, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Linda Wyss, and sons: Michael and Donald Wyss.
