Donald Christy

Donald Christy 59 of Mineral Wells passed away on May 30, 2015 at his home. He was born in Newport, Rhode Island; the son of the late Ben and Margaret (Troy) Christy. Donald was in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed serving his country; his continuation of service to veterans through the American Legion Post 75 showed his strong patriotism. He was a past commander and had a very active role up until his passing. Donald was a glazer by trade; he probably installed most of the glass in Mineral Wells during his career. He leaves behind to cherish his memory son, Troy and wife Daniel Christy; brothers Dana and Gray Christy; sister, Paula "Kay" Christy and granddaughter Milly Christy. A celebration of life will be held Sunday 12:00PM June 7, 2015 at American Legion Post 75.
