Donal Luke Bishop

Donal Luke Bishop, 81, went to be with our Heavenly Father on November 24th, he was born April 28, 1942 to Don Lee (Tipp) Bishop and Louise Ballenger Bishop in Mineral Wells, Texas. Don is survived by his children Stephanie Gonzales of Katy, Kelli Blair of Lubbock, Billy Brillhart and wife Misty of Mineral Wells, BJ Cox and husband Lonnie of Perrin, grandchildren Krystal Gonzales of Houston, Lupe Gonzales of Houston, Steven Gonazles of Houston, Stephanie Gonazles of Houston, Anjuli Shaw and husband Thomas of Boerne, Brennan Blair of Iceland, Seth Blair of Lubbock, Amanda Edwards of Mineral Wells, Karissa Hatley and husband Mat of Mineral Wells, Chance Nunley and wife Kory of Azle, Aubry and Saber Wedel of Mineral Wells, Preslee Works and husband Chandler of Perrin, Ashlyn Akin and husband Chase of Perrin, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jean Bishop, his parents Tipp and Louise Bishop, his son Donald Brillhart and baby sister Lily Bishop. In his younger days Don loved fast cars and motorcycles. He loved to hunt and fish and spend time with family and his church. He loved the Lord and loved to tell people about Jesus. He was a salesman for US Brick/Hanson for 30+ years. He was a longtime member of the Gideons. He was a member of the Gospel Light Baptist Church. Services for Donal L Bishop will be held Saturday, December 2nd at 10:00 am, at Gospel Light Baptist Church, with visitation at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home on Friday December 1st from 6-8 pm.
