Dixie Lynn Acuff Taylor

July 22, 1935 — April 7, 2022

Dixie Acuff Taylor passed away in Round Rock, Texas, on April 7th, 2022. She was born in Fort Worth in 1935 and was a lifelong Texan and follower of Christ. Dixie was a member of the Alpha Phi sorority and a teacher in the Fort Worth school district. She is survived by her daughter, Dana Moore, her granddaughter, Taylor Blackmon, her sisters, Barbara Fannin, Laura Parker, Paula Hanley, and Elene Harger, her brother, Max Acuff, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Services were held in Aledo, Texas at the Brown Cemetery. She was proceeded in death by her first husband, Capt. Paul Moore, her second husband, William Taylor, her brother Eldon Acuff Jr., and her parents, Eldon Acuff and Merle Acuff.
