Diego Chavira

Diego Chavira, 66, passed away February 17,2024 in Mineral Wells. He was born on September 30, 1957 to Alvino and Maria Chavira. 

Diego was a long-time resident of Mineral Wells and worked many years in the oil and water well services. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. 

Survivors include his children and spouse, Sylvia Chavira, Diego Chavira Jr., Arsilia Chavira and Johnny Gutierrez; his brothers, Alvino Chavira, Carlos Chavira, Rene Chavira, Lee Chavira; his sisters, Romelia Andrade and Rachel Benavides; his three grandchildren and two great grandchildren and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Alvino and Maria Chavira and brother Sergio Chavira.

Services will be at 10 am Thursday, February 21, 2024 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Mineral Wells. Rosary and visitation will be 6:30 pm on Wednesday at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home.
