Sadly our, sweet beloved, Denise Darcell Novak born April 20th, 1961 went to be with Our Lord at the age of 63 on January 7th, 2025 around 7am, she was surrounded by her close loved ones in her home.
She battled many health issues and struggled a long time but she always gave her all and stayed faithful living her beautiful life to the very fullest. Denise had the biggest and brightest personality; she was courageous, inspirational, kind, loving, giving, full of joy and laughter with so much happiness in her heart. She was also a ball of fire that showed us just how strong a person could be as she overcame so many obstacles and did it with grace, class and dignity.
Denise is survived by the love of her life Frank Novak whom she married on February 12th, 1979 and they began building their family together. He loved her fiercely, took care of and cherished her more than anything, she was his whole world. She will be greatly and deeply missed by her oldest daughter KayLee Scherer along with her husband Heath Scherer, they loved her with their entire hearts and soul. She will also be missed by her youngest baby girl Chelsie Gannaway. Her grandchildren Heaven, Trey, Kemper, Maddox, HartLee, and Cambria will always hold their GeGe close to their hearts as she loved them and spoiled them rotten. She has one great grand baby that she had been fighting to hold on for, sweet baby Marina. Denise also has three siblings Ronnie Pressler, Patrick Hodges and Patti Mazurek that will miss their baby sister.
Denise was welcomed in Heaven by her first baby Angel and one grandson Keegan, I know she is loving them up. I’m positive she was so happy to be reunited with her mama Carrie Mae Green along with her siblings Dixie Shore, Jerry Chatham, Jay Jones and Walter Green.
A memorial to celebrate Denise’s life will be held January 17th at 2 pm. The service will be at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home located at 302 West Hubbard in Mineral Wells TX.
If you plan to order flowers, we would appreciate plants. They last much longer than cut flowers. Her loved ones will cherish them as a reminder of her.
