Heaven has gained another beautiful soul. Delores Ann Stults passed from this earth April 20 2014, at Palo Pinto General Hospital, while surrounded by her loved ones. Delores was born on August 21, 1947, in Odessa, Texas to Ollie B. Dan and Delores Beatrice Brown Hughes. She married William R. Stults on June 13, 1969, in Weatherford, Texas, and they have been living in Mineral Wells for the last sixteen of their years together. Her passions were nature and art, and she often found ways to combine the two. If she wasn't outside working in her flower beds, she was inside painting landscapes. Delores loved whole-heartedly and greatly impacted the lives of everyone she knew. Dee, or Sissy, as her family called her, will be terribly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, younger sister, Florence "Beth" Hughes, and sister-in-law Jean Jones. She is survived by her husband "Randy," sons Phillip Brian Stults and Christopher Lee Stults, grandson, Jeremy Brian Stults, all of Mineral Wells, brother Gilbert Lee Hughes and wife Rebecca, of Peaster, brother Ollie B. Dan Hughes, Jr., also of Mineral Wells, mother- in-law Evelyn Hobbs and sister-in-law Susie Jones, both of Graford, honorary brother Robert Forrester of Fort Worth, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she cared for as if they were her own. Services will be at Baum Carlock Bumgardner on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Dilbeck Cemetery in Peaster, Texas. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
