Delores Evans

Delores Mae Borton Lundy Evans, 71, passed away October 6, 2017 at her home in Mineral Wells. She was born November 24, 1945 in Story City, Iowa the daughter of Howard and Annie Borton. She graduated from Nesco High School in 1964 in Iowa. She had been a member of the Lutheran Church for her entire life. She stayed in touch with the outside world with her cell phone and Facebook. Services will be 1 PM Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at St. Mark Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She married Otis Lundy on December 24, 1964. She married Lloyd Evans on November 3, 1984. She is survived by her children and spouses: Terry and Angie Lundy of Lipan, Tammy and Willy G. Lewallen of Mineral Wells, Tricia Lundy and Danny Goolsby Sr. of Mineral Wells, stepchildren: Robert Lundy of Iowa, Marlene, Vicki, Tonya, and Mike Evans, grandchildren: Candy Lundy, Tim Lundy, Willy W. Lewallen Jr., Willis Lewallen, Summer Lewallen, Danny Goolsby Jr., Jeffery Owens all of Mineral Wells, Ariel Baccus of Iowa, step-grandchildren: Sarah, Chris, Brian, and Anthony, great-grandchildren: Hunter Lewallen, Haden Lewallen, Abby Lewallen all of Mineral Wells, Heavenly Baccus of Iowa, and lifelong friend: Evelyn and Carl Fink. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Candy Lundy, and her half-sister: Pearl See.
