Della Faye Gilmore, 85, passed away November 13, 2010 in a Cleburne hospital. She was born June 6, 1925 in Delta County the daughter of David William and Susie K. Bailey Wallace. She married James Harold Gilmore on August 22, 1943 in Delta County. She lived in Cleburne for the past 5 years and at PK Lake prior to that. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Possum Kingdom, a member of the Eastern Star, and Past President of the PK Woman's Club. Graveside services will be 11 AM Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband: James Harold Gilmore of Cleburne, children and spouses: J. W. and Minister Rosetta Gilmore of Corona, New Mexico, Max and Dee Gilmore of Hobbs, New Mexico, Debby and Larry Wines of Joshua, 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, sisters: Estelle Wilson of Paris, Texas, Jo Peck of Elk City, Oklahoma, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved dog: Chiquita Dale Gilmore. Faye was loved by all. In lieu of flowers go out and spend an evening with your family.
