Delbert Lewis "Butch" Clutts, 76, of Weatherford, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 3, 2020.
Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Service is 10 a.m., Monday, January 6, at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Sturdivant Cemetery.
Butch was born November 21, 1943, to Lewis and Imogene Roberts Clutts, in Mineral Wells. He married Bette Barnett on January 27, 1967.
Butch proudly served on the Mineral Wells Volunteer Fire Department for 24 years. He was also active in the Palo Pinto County Rescue Team, the Mineral Wells Bass Club and the Asphalt Aviators Motorcycle Club. He retired in 2002 from the City of Weatherford Public Works Department.
He had a tremendous love for the great outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Butch fell in love with the mountains at a very young age and, as an adult, spent lots of time riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing and camping in the outdoors. He loved to travel and meet new people. Butch was a "People Person" who loved being surrounded by family and friends.
Butch is survived by his son, Buddy Clutts and wife, Lisa, of Possum Kingdom; aunt, Billie Rotenberry, of Fort Worth; cousin, Ronny Roberts; nieces, Shauna Clutts Bradshaw, of Mineral Wells, and Leslie Barnard, of Tucson, Arizona; nephew, Dwayne Barnett, of Watauga; many other nieces, nephews, cousins; and numerous dear and precious friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bette Clutts; parents, Lewis and Imogene Clutts; and brother, Larry Clutts.
