Debra Jane Craig

Debra Jane (Lewallen) Craig, 71, of Livingston, TX passed away Saturday,
May 20, 2023, at her home. She was born May 23, 1951, in Mineral Wells,
TX to W.A. and Barbara (Whitehouse) Lewallen. Debra was the oldest of
nine children. She grew up in Mineral Wells and while in high school met
Kenneth. They fell in love and were married on February 10, 1968.
Debra thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her large family. She loved
cooking and caring for others, spoiling her grandkids and great-grandkids,
and playing dice and board games. Some of her happiest times included
playing on her tablet, going to garage sales, and being at the lake with a
fishing pole in her hand.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Craig; daughter,
Stephanie Craig; father, W.A. Lewallen; sisters, Linda Reedy and Edith
Gilbert; brother, Raymond Lewallen.
Debra is survived by daughter, Kelly Craig and boyfriend Jimmy Burns;
son, Kevin Craig and wife Cherry; grandchildren: Jodie Wright, Amber
Henley, Khrystina Phillips (Jonathan), Kyle Craig (April), Derek Hughes,
Brittany Hughes, Bryan Craig, Tianna Craig, McKenzie Craig, Cayden
Jones, Kamberlee Craig, and Emma Craig; fifteen great-grandchildren; one
great-great grandchild; chosen companion and partner, Bill White, mother,
Barbara Lewallen; sisters, Cathy Lewallen and Patsy Howard; brothers,
Jack Lewallen and Willie Lewallen; and numerous nieces, nephews, loved
ones, and friends.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, May 24 at the
Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells. A funeral
service will be held Thursday, May 25 at 2:00 PM at Rock Creek Baptist
Church in Mineral Wells with burial to follow at Woodland Park Cemetery.
