On April 7, 2021 Deborah Elaine Cramer passed while at home in Mineral Wells surrounded by her immediate family; husband, Terry Cramer; daughter, Melinda Ball; and four grandchildren, Mathew, Robert, Jeremy, and Alyss. Also survived by her other children; Suzann (Eddie) Sterling of Abilene, and Johnathan Heneka of Arvada, CO; her siblings, Joe of Albuquerque, NM, and Marilyn (Dana) Carpenter of Washington; eleven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and other siblings, James, William, Norman, and Doyle.
She was born October 14, 1951 in Coolidge, AZ to John Wesley and Ora Mae (Thornhill) Pearce. Deborah was the daughter of a preacher. She learned and discovered the love of God as a child which became a lifelong pursuit where her love for the Lord was forever in her heart and on her lips, whether it be in verse or song. Both of which consistently renewed her and gave her strength. A strength she embodied with every moment of her life. Through countless adventures and misadventures, she was a matriarch that propped up and sustained her family with guidance and spirituality. While never afraid to speak her mind, she also bore a huge heart that was as vulnerable as she was strong. Deborah married at the early age of 16 and gave birth to her three children by the age of 22. While her first marriage was short and unsuccessful, soon after the birth of her third child she me the love of her life, Terry, in 1974 in Oakland, CA. Together they experienced a long, eventful, and loving life together that truly embraced all the for better or worse, for richer or poorer that endears one to another with an unbreakable bond of more than 46 years.
We say goodbye to a mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother, and soldier of the lord. You are loved and will be missed.
