David F. Snider Jr.

David F. Snider Jr., 83, passed away December 21, 2011 in a Fort Worth hospital. He was born July 30, 1928 in Palo Pinto County the son of David F. Sr. and Effie Pittman Snider. He married Louise Way on January 24, 1953 in Fort Worth. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias. He worked as a Printer Supervisor at the Box Factory in Mineral Wells for many years. He was known as Poppa Dave and he loved his grandchildren and they loved him. Services will be 10 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. H. L. Jayne officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Louise Snider of Garner, daughter and son-in-law: Sherron and Sonny Morgan of Garner, granddaughter and spouse: Amanda and Tim Bransford of Weatherford, grandsons and spouses: Terry and Cindy Morgan of Graford, Matt and Danelle Morgan of Garner, great-grandchildren: Josh, Caitlin, Gabriel, Reese, Ashley, Matt, Brittany, Chelsey, and Kasie, brother and sister-in-law: Elmore and Elaine Snider of Mineral Wells, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and 1 brother.
