David Ray Glover, 53, of Mamou LA., passed away April 14, 2011 in Mineral Wells. He is the son of Raymond and Ruth Lyon Glover born in Mineral Wells. He graduated from Graford High School and went on to receive his masters in Counseling. What he enjoyed most about his life was being able to give back; he was a drug and alcohol addict recovery counselor, with this he created many friendships through life and help many turn over a new leaf in life. He had a strong Christian upbringing and relied heavily on the Lords help through his life. His patients loved the enthusiasm and love he brought to his profession, not to mention the crazy Hawaiian shirts he wore all summer long. He will be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to know him. Survivors are parents; Raymond and Ruth Glover of Mineral Wells, sister; Katrina Rusher of Mineral Wells, wife of 25 years, Joni Glover of Mamou, LA., children; Trish and Eric Cothren, Christopher and Jessie Sorensen and stepson; Toby and wife Morine Wexler, grandchildren; Destiny, Chance, Elijah and Briana Cothren, Josiah Sorenson, and Christopher, Kelli, Colton, Kari and Kenzie Wexler. A memorial Service is scheduled for Thursday April 21, 2011 at Salesville Baptist Church at 2pm. Lunch will be served at 12:00 noon before the service in the Fellowship Hall for all that can attend.
