Darwin Price

Darwin Geraldine Price of Mineral Wells passed away at home surrounded by his family. He was born December 19, 1938 in Whitewright, Texas the son of Denzil and Wynama Stephens Price.

Darwin was an All-Star Athlete for Arlington High School and went on to play football as the first quarteback at Arlington State majoring in structural engineering. He was a retired contractor with an amazing ability to build; he was a true craftsman. He loved to do wood working, fishing, and play sports. Darwin was very kind, caring, loving and patient man. He never had a harsh word to say about anyone nor did anyone say anything other than good things about him. He had the most loving heart. Darwin loved his grandbabies very much.

Survivors include his children, Daria Anne Fallin and husband Jonathan, Shadara Jan Price, Darwin Blake Price; grandchildren, Ty William Fallin, Brynli McKray Fallin, Stormi Jan Hataway, and Brooke Ashleigh Goodman; great-grandchildren, Hayden Dean Hataway and Jett Riley Goodman; friend and mother of Daria,  Marie Price-Helmick; numerous extended family and friends.

Public viewing will be Sunday from 8:30 am - 8:30 pm at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2 pm, Monday, November 30 at Brad Cemetery. A meal will be provided after at Freedom Fellowship Church.
