Darien May

Darien Anthony May 47 of Denton passed into his Lords loving arms on February 26, 2017. Visitation will be Friday March 3rd4-8PM in the funeral home chapel. Funeral service will be Saturday March 4th, 1PM at First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells. Darien graduated from Mineral Wells High School where he played football for the Rams and wore number 89. He earned a football scholarship to Angelo State University where he also wore the same number while playing defensive end and earning a bachelor's degree in Education. He continued his love for the sport, coaching and teaching in San Angelo for 10 years then moved to Dallas ISD and continued coaching/teaching for 9 years. He leaves behind wife Irma Vasquez May of 21 years; children, Rey and Darien May; mother, Byrdia Fisher; brothers, Timothy and wife Liz Fisher, Floyd and wife Patricia Fisher and Sean and wife Sharee Fisher; sisters, Deirdra Fisher, Debra Fisher and Tess Fisher; mother and father in-laws, Irma and Juan Vasquez; Oscar Juarez along with numerous nieces, nephews, Godchildren and a host of friends.
