Curtis Gonce

Curtis Lee Gonce of Mineral Wells passed away August 26, 2011 at his home. Curtis was born July 22, 1960 to Roylee and Velma Gonce in Mineral Wells. Service is Wednesday August 31, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in the Baum Carlock Bumgardner Chapel with Lonnie DeArmond officiating, burial will follow at Staggs Cemetery. Curtis lived life to the fullest. He adored his granddaughter and loved taking her for rides on his motorcycle. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, golf and being around friends, he will be greatly missed. Survivors are daughter Heather and husband Russell Pippin of Jacksboro, TX. granddaughter Brooklin Myers of Jacksboro, TX. and sister Dorthy and husband Fred Grimes of Mineral Wells, along with cousins and many friends. Pallbearers are Roy Patterson, Ricky Guzman, Will Belding, Bud Casey, Pat Ingersol and Bubba Lusk. Honorary pallbearers are Alvin Garland, P.D. Curtner, Pat Wells, John Matherly, Mike Massie, Bradley Boone, Brad, Braxton and Ellis Wayne Bridges and Monty Brogdon. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Nelda Baker.
