Cora Mae Watts, 93, of Lake Palo Pinto passed away on Monday December 13, 2010. Visitation will be Friday December 17, from 6-8 PM at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday in the Baum Carlock Bumgardner Chapel at 9:30AM with internment following at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington at 3:00PM.Mrs. Watts was born January 6, 1917 in Clay County the daughter of James and Irene Dodd Moser. Throughout her journey in life she was married over 66 years to Jack Watts and served in church in every way possible. She served as a nursery care worker for 20 years and was a life member of WSCS all at Wesley United Methodist Church in Wichita Falls. She retired from floral design working for Bruce Flowers. After living in Wichita Falls for 40 years she moved to Lake Palo Pinto. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. Her hobbies were canning fresh vegetables that she and her husband grew, quilting for all the family and friends, she also loved working Bible puzzles and word searches.She is survived by her daughter; Mary Hollis and husband Ray, grandchildren; Shelia Bybee and husband Jim, Nickie Hollis and friend Michelle, Stormy Watts and wife Julie, Arnold and Bryan Smithart, great grandchildren; Dillon, Stacey, Jeffery, Josh, Erica, Jordan, Will, Austin, Brenna and Brandon, and one great-great grandchild Grace.She was preceded in death by her husband: Jack Watts, parents and one son; Horace Watts.
