Consuelo Delgado

Consuelo (Connie) (Ortiz) Delgado was born July 5, 1936 and raised in Bennett, Texas and then moved to Mineral Wells, Texas in 1963. She passed away December 28, 2010 in a Fort Worth hospital. She worked for the Nazareth Hospital and Mepco Electra as a Machine Operator. Mass is 10 AM Monday, January 3, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Balaji Boyalla officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 10 AM-9PM at the funeral home. The Rosary is 6 PM Sunday at the funeral home. She was the loving wife of Joseph R. Delgado Sr., mother of Elizabeth Delgado Gori and husband John of Nottingham, MD, David Delgado of Millsap, Joe and Pam Delgado Jr. of Millsap, Robert and Claudia Delgado of Keller, Suzanne Valles of Fort Worth, Christina and Robert Avants of Mineral Wells, Cheryl Rodriguez-Pyle of Mineral Wells, Daniel Delgado of Mineral Wells, she was a loving grandmother to 23 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She has two sisters: Lupe Trevino and Tommie Gonzales of Mineral Wells, and two brothers: Steve Ortiz of Mineral Wells, and John Ortiz of Garland. She was preceded in death by her parents: Conrado M. and Soledad Ortiz, brothers: Conrado Jr., Mike, and Bernardo Ortiz, and sisters: Mercedes Saenz and Josie Valtierra.
