Colleen Barcklay

On the 6th of December 2020, Colleen L Barcklay of Mineral Wells, Tx passed away at the age of 57.

Colleen was born in Mineral Wells, Tx on March 7, 1963 to Carlton and Frankie Patton. She continued to live in Mineral Wells, Tx throughout her life. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 8 years, Jack Barcklay; mother, Frankie Patton of Mineral Wells; mother-in-law, Rosemary Barcklay of Mineral Wells; children, Collette Gilstrap and husband Bj of Nogal, NM; stepsons, Joshua Barcklay and wife Jona of Mineral Wells and Tyler Barcklay of Mineral Wells; brother, Frank Patton and Dee of Katy, Tx; sister, Linda Manion and husband Tom of Plano Tx; brother, David Patton of Mineral Wells; sister-in-law, Cathy Burns and husband Bubba of Mineral Wells; sister-in-law, Rebecca Conway and husband Jay of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Tj, Rhett, and Brenton Gilstrap of Nogal, NM, Ivy and Yarin Barcklay of Mineral Wells, Brooklyn Brock of Weatherford; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Colleen loved every person she met. She drove a bus for Perrin-Whitt ISD and Mineral Wells ISD for a total of 20+years and loved every day she got with her kids on her bus. She enjoyed floating the Brazos River and loved to gamble. Colleen was such a loving caring person to know. She lived life to the fullest and loved every second of life. She will be forever loved by all she knew.  

She is proceeded in death by her father, Carlton Patton; her sister, Carla Patton and son, Michael Brock II.
