Clyde Wilkinson

Clyde Wilkinson, 85, of Mineral Wells, passed away Friday, August 6, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday at the Cool Assembly of God with Rev. Marsha McDonald officiating. Burial will be in the Ballew Springs Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Mark March, Daniel McMinn, Joe Moore, Ed Fowler, Wayne Baggett and Terry Blakeley. Clyde was born November 6, 1924 in Mineral Wells, the son of Carlo and Elizabeth Dobbin Wilkinson and lived here most of his life. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War Two and was a water well driller. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Mary Alice Wilkinson of the home; son, James Allen Wilkinson and wife Anne of Cypress, TX; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family requests donations be made to the Palo Pinto County Meals on Wheels.
