Clyde Strain

Clyde Ward Strain, 58, passed away February 1, 2017 at his home in Mineral Wells. He was born September 18, 1958 in Mineral Wells, son of Estes Dale and Margaret Nell Wiggins Strain. He married LaNell Windham in 1999 at Holders Chapel in Cool. He was a lifetime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of the Central United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be 2 PM Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Staggs Prairie Cemetery with Barry and Margie Holmes officiating. He is survived by his wife: LaNell Strain; parents: Estes Dale and Margaret Nell Strain; children: Phillip, Amy, Joshua, Melissa, Tito, Eric, and Tesa; grandchildren: Candice, Chloe, Devon, Madison, Hailey, Gunner, Maverick, Maloree, Erica, Destiny, and Lindsey; brother and sister-in-law: Jerry Dale and Nancy Strain; aunts: Louella Faye Merrell, and Barbara Jane Burns; nieces and spouses: Kelly and Cody Morris. Jerri and J.C. Devenport; great-niece: Kyli; and special cousin: Ward Merrell. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Dwight Ward and D. Strain, and Ruel Clyde and Maurine Wiggins.
