Clyde Green

Clyde Ross Green, 77, passed away February 21, 2009 in a Fort Worth hospital. He was born May 14, 1931 in Brazos Valley the son of Ross and Nell Woods Green. He married Frances Brackeen on February 23, 1975 in Palo Pinto. He had lived in Palo Pinto since 1975 and in Fort Worth prior to that. He was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church, and a veteran of the US Navy having served in the Korean War. Services will be 10 AM Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Indian Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Palo Pinto Cemetery. He is survived by his wife: Frances Green of Palo Pinto, son and daughter-in-law: Sonny and Kara Murphy of Palo Pinto, grandchildren: Crystal, Scott, and Shawn Murphy, sisters: LaNora Carr and Mary Green both of Palmer, brother: J. S. Green of Terrebone, Oregon, numerous nieces and nephews, and 2 spoiled poodles Fi Fi and Gi Gi. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Tommy Joe Green.
