Clifton Wesley Wright Jr

September 7 1949 - April 5 2021

On Monday April 5th 2021 Clif Wright , 71, passed away at Medical City Weatherford and walked through the gates of Heaven.

Raised in Texas, Clif graduated from Arlington Heights High School. He was immediately drafted to play minor league baseball, but instead chose to serve his country. Clif was a well respected hospital corpsman for the U.S. Navy and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with several degrees. He then had a successful career as a computer programmer retiring from Tarrant County. 

An example to us all, Clif never stopped learning and never stopped serving. He served as a City Councilman for Mineral Wells and is currently on the ballot for Ward Four. He was currently a realtor, specializing in Veteran’s affairs, with many other specialties.  A few of his other accomplishments include, Scout Master, dispatcher, cdl, bar b que chef, and much more. 

Clif loved golf, bowling, baseball, cooking, reading, traveling and taking classes of all kinds. 

Generous beyond measure, Clif will be greatly missed.

Survived by his wife, Wanda, eight children, nine grandchildren, one great grandson, and a large extended family.
