Clayton Lewis Garvin Sr., 76, of Mineral Wells, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018. He was born in Salesville, Texas, on August 25, 1941 to Gerald and Goldie Garvin. He served in the United States Army from 1962-1965. He loved fishing and gardening. But most of all he loved his family.He is survived by his wife, Sylvia, of 54 years, daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Burke Kennedy, his sons and daughter-in-law's Clayton Jr. and Wynona Garvin, Richard and Jessica Garvin, brothers and sisters in law, David and JoAnne Garvin, Gerald and Mary Garvin, Sister and brother-in-law, Dee and Ronnie Wilson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a step father Huahie Roberts, brothers, Gary Wayne and Dean Garvin, sister Goldina Garvin and step brother Jack Roberts.The memorial service will be Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church.
