Clarence Smith

Clarence "Smitty" Smith, 75, passed away December 9, 2014 in a Mineral Wells assisted living facility. He was born October 30, 1939 in Bancroft, West Virginia the son of William and Patricia Hackett Smith. He married Alma Lee on June 3, 1961 in Mineral Wells. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was retired from the US Army having served 3 tours in Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW. Mass will be 2 PM Friday, December 12, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. The Rosary will be 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Visitation will follow 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. He is survived by his children and spouses: Jan and Ramon Perez, Kelly and Joe Salazar, Joy and Johnny Gutierrez, and Jessica and Brandon Pritchett, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sister: Patty Dever, numerous extended family, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife on September 12, 2011, brother: James Patrick Smith, and granddaughter: Ashley Nicole Smith.
