Clara Evelyn "Peach" Wilfong, 91, passed away in Cleburne, Texas on Friday, December 21, 2012. She was born in Palo Pinto, Texas on March 8, 1921. She married Calvin Birch Wilfong on October 10, 1942. She lived in Palo Pinto, Texas all her life. Mrs Wilfong was a school teacher and taught at Pickwick, Lucille, and Graford, Texas. She was also a homemaker and lifetime cowgirl. Clara Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Alva Peach of Palo Pinto; her husband, Calvin Birch Wilfong; two brothers, Fint and J. R. Peach; one son, Charlie Birch "Bud" Wilfong of Albany; two grandsons, Jim Bob Simpson and Casey Birch Wilfong; and one great-grandson, Joshua Beau Simpson. She is survived by five children; two daughters, Clara Jo and husband Johnny Buckaloo of Rio Vista, Texas; Nelva and husband Pancho Ambriz of Stephenville, Texas; three sons, Billy Bob Wilfong and wife Melanie of Aquilla, Texas; Harry Jack Wilfong and wife Judy of Crossroads, Texas; and Scott Cody and wife Jackie of Blum, Texas. Mrs. Wilfong was known as "Grammer" to 21 grandchildrne, 36 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Wilfong will be held at Baum-Carlock-Bumgrardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells, Texas on Wednesday, December, 26, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM at Brad Cemetery in Brad, Texas. Mrs. Wilfong was loved by many and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
