Cindy Marie Isham

Cindy Marie Isham (née Moore), 59, passed away of natural causes on August 2, 2023 at home in Mineral Wells, Texas. She was born in Oak Park, IL on December 24, 1963, her father’s 24th birthday, to Rosemary C. Moore (née Causey) and William Barry Moore.  

Cindy is survived by her daughter, Georgia Rae Herren (née Isham) of Seattle, WA; her sister, Pamela Jo Evans (née Moore); and her mother, Rosemary Moore.

Cindy grew up in Chicago and Lake Zurich, IL and graduated from Lake Zurich High School.  She appeared in many plays and musicals in high school and local theatre groups, and then moved into Chicago, establishing herself in the local theatre scene, as Sydney Moore, her stage name and answered to her preferred nickname, Syd. She trained in the Meisner Technique of acting and rose to become a well-respected instructor and director using her Meisner training.

In recent years, she was plagued with multiple health issues which finally were insurmountable.
