Christie Ann Marie Peña, 28, passed away Sept. 7, 2017. Service is 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Viewing is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Christie was born Aug. 18, 1989, to Ralph and Brenda Pena in Mineral Wells. She graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 2010. Christie was full of life and is gone too soon. We will miss her love for dancing, music and always having a good time. Christie's life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, she is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. Survived by mother Brenda Peña and stepfather Bart Tackett; father, Rafael Peña Jr. and stepmother Eva Rollins, all of Mineral Wells; brothers, Matthew Peña and wife Alicia of Cleveland, Texas, Michael Peña and wife Natasha of Mineral Wells, Joshua Peña and wife Breezy of Jacksboro, Texas, and David Peña and wife Judy of Mineral Wells; sister, Miranda Peña of Mineral Wells; stepsisters, Khristane Love, Crystal Tackett, Carol Halse, Melissa Rollins and Christina Rollins; 14 nephews; and eight nieces. Preceded in death by grandmothers, Darthie Jones and Mary Kaczmarczyk; and grandfather, Rafael Peña Sr.
