Chris Aaron Littlefield passed away September 13, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. He was born August 9, 1964 in Weatherford, Texas to Royce and Elaine (Crosland) Littlefield.
Chris attended Millsap Schools and is a graduate of the Class of 1981. Chris was the statistician for Bulldog Athletics and a member of the Millsap Tennis team. After high school, Chris attended Weatherford College and Tarleton State University. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tarleton in 1985, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Chris worked in the business world for over thirty-seven years for several different companies and was a valued employee wherever he worked. He had a great personal work ethic and dedication to the tasks entrusted to his care. In recent years, Chris worked in Dallas for the Bank of Montreal. In the Metroplex, he leaves behind many friends and work colleagues who became a second family to him.
Chris is survived by his father, Royce Littlefield of Millsap, Texas; brother, Brad Littlefield and wife, Johnnie, of Millsap, Texas; sister, Beth Adkins and husband, Norman, of Millsap, Texas; nephews, Trey Adkins and wife, Karlie, of Millsap, Texas, Zeb Littlefield of Saginaw, Texas, and Drew Adkins of Houston, Texas; nieces, Ashtyn Haynes and husband, Luke, of Weatherford, Texas and Raelyn Littlefield of Millsap, Texas; great-nephews, Major and Milo Adkins of Millsap, Texas; great-niece, Mikayla Adkins of Glen Rose, Texas; and his loved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Chris was a caring son, brother, and uncle. He took great pride in the accomplishments of his nieces and nephews. He always remembered the important dates and activities of his family and acknowledged them with cards, calls, or visits. He shared his love of sports with his family and friends and was always knowledgeable about local sports news, as well as his beloved Rangers, Stars, and Cowboys. Perhaps Chris’s favorite sport to watch was tennis. His family knew that if Wimbledon or the U.S. Open were taking place, Chris would be getting up early and staying up late to catch every match. Chris’s love of the simple things in life, his laugh, his smile, and his gift for conversation will be what we miss the most.
Preceding Chris in death were his brother, Paul Grant, in 1970 and his mother, Elaine, in 2013.
