Charles Simmons

Charles Louie Simmons, 70, passed away February 20, 2015 in a Mineral Wells hospital. He was born June 29, 1944 in San Antonio the son of Louie and Edna Gober Simmons. He married Joyce Kirkpatrick on June 8, 1963 in Missouri. He was a longtime resident of Brazos and Pastor of Gospel Ministries in Mineral Wells. Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Joyce Simmons of Brazos, children and spouses: Clarence and Tammy Simmons of Brazos, Donna and Richard Varnell of Sharon, Oklahoma, Sherry and James Ballou of Brazos, Lisa and Mark Cotton of Mineral Wells, grandchildren and spouses: Stacie and Dustin Hamscher, Holly and Jason Newcomb, Brandon and Joni Simmons, Chris Logan, Angel and Dallas Brown, Lola and Landon Cooley, Richard and Lacy Varnell, Ryan Varnell, Charles Lee Simmons, Edward and Christy Billue, Megan and K'leigh Billue, Mark, Arionna, and Kason Cotton, sons-in-law: Charles Billue and Tom Billue, and numerous great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, precious daughter: Tina Billue, and 2 brothers.
