Charles Dwayne Carter

Charles Dwayne Carter, 71, passed away October 23, 2011 at his home in Mineral Wells. He was born November 29, 1939 in Mineral Wells the son of Paul and Merdell Rhodes Carter. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells. He was a member of the American Legion and the Mineral Wells High School 50 Year Club. He owned and operated Carter Station. Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Southside Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law: Noel and Patsy Carter, sister and brother-in-law: Neta and R. E. Mason, longtime companion: Nancy Hawkins and family all of Mineral Wells, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Oreta Vincent, and nephew: Ricky Mason.
