Charles "Charlie" Wayne Ballenger, 43, went home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2014 after a long and hard illness. He was born May 14, 1971 in Charleston, South Carolina the son of Fritz E. and Ada C. Lee Ballenger. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and Dallas. He was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. He was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Society. He was a Student Ambassador at Weatherford College. He attended Texas Wesleyan University. Services will be 2 PM Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. He is survived by his father: Fritz Ballenger of Mineral Wells, sisters and brothers-in-law: Carrie and Jim Hester of Aledo, Sheryl Curtis of Mineral Wells, Debora and Gary Mann of Euless, aunt: Bobbie Hall, uncles: Buddy, Billy, and Roy Ballenger, Charles Lee, nieces and nephews: Justen Hinkle, Kevin Perryman, Brittany Addington, Cody Perryman, Jeremy Perryman, Cami Hinkle, Miranda Doss, Wyatt Perryman, Aric Battle, and Riley Perryman, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, and nephew: J. D. Doss.
