Carolyn Shepperd

Carolyn Zue Shepperd, 61, of Mineral Wells, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009 in Mineral Wells. Graveside services will be 1 PM Wednesday at the Marlow Cemetery in Marlow, Oklahoma with Rev. Jerrel Tomlin officiating. Visitation will 7-9 PM Tuesday. Mrs. Shepperd was born October 15, 1947 in Duncan, OK, the daughter of Hugh and Ruby M. Boydston Jones. She married Joe Shepperd August 14, 1981 in Grapevine, TX where she lived from 1987 until 2008 when they moved to Mineral Wells. She was a member of the Church of God in Mineral Wells and the Palo Pinto County Historical Society. She loved gardening and the love of her life was her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Joe Shepperd of Mineral Wells; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Deborah Adley of Keller, Josh and Michelle Adley of Euless and Angelo and Bree Adley of Grapevine; grandchildren, Cody, Ashleigh, Cole, Sarah, Caleb, Mallory, Sabrina, Alexis and Grace; sister and husband, Robbie and Jon Gaecke of Grapevine; brother and wife, Gary and Karen Jones of Oklahoma City, OK; sister-in-law, Patricia Caffey of Abilene; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Jones in 1995.
