Carolyn Sue Laigle left behind a legacy on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. She was born in Pampa, Texas on May 7, 1938, to Clyde and Etta Minniear. She later met the love of her life and soulmate, Charles Laigle, whom she married on June 15, 1958, in Alvin, Texas. She and her family moved to Mineral Wells in 1975 to live their life together, where she lived until shortly before her passing.
She was an excellent mother, homemaker and opened her home to provide childcare. She loved children, and many young adults were fortunate to have been in her care from the Mineral Wells area. After losing her husband, Charles, in 1993, Carolyn continued to be a devoted mother and grandmother. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she was their biggest supporter.
She will be lying in state at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home on Monday, December 26, 2022, with a graveside service scheduled for Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 2 PM at Woodland Park Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her loving husband, Charles Laigle, and her sister, Sue Godeke. She leaves behind to remember her loving ways, son Kevin and wife Shawna, daughter Kristen Evans and husband Donnie. Grandchildren: Brian and Tegann Smeal, Kenzie and Eric Traylor, Sheldon and Mitchell LaMonte, Keaton Evans, and Hannah Laigle. Great-Grandchildren Levi and Bailey Smeal, Aidan Duckett, and Kinley Traylor.
