Carl David Delk

Carl David Delk, 63, of Mineral Wells, gained his wings on Saturday, December 2, 2023, after a brave battle with cancer.

David was married to the love of his life, Tina, for 45 years, and together they raised two daughters. His work as a heavy equipment operator kept them traveling for years.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tina; daughter, Joni Mele; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Stetson, and Hailey Wilmeth; favorite sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Welcoming him into Heaven are his daughter, Amanda Delk; brothers, Jimmy and Charles Delk; parents, James and Dorothy Delk; and son-in-law, Jason Mele.

David will be remembered as a loving, loyal, humorous, and selfless man. He will be truly missed by all who were blessed to know him.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2023 at Holders Chapel Cemetery with Gary Richardson officiating. Visitation will be on the evening of December 7 from 6-8 p.m. at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells.
